Welcome to Fridays on Front — Summer’s Vibrant Block Party

Fridays on Front is back this summer, lighting up the Front Street Mews in downtown New Westminster with six free block-party nights. Running weekly from July through August, families, friends, and neighbours gather every Friday evening to celebrate community, culture, and good vibes.
Dates & Details
- When: Fridays, 5pm–9pm on July 11, 18, 25 and August 1, 8, 15, 22
- Where: 600-block, Front Street Mews — just steps from New Westminster SkyTrain Station
- Cost: Free to enter. Drinks, food, and activities are pay-as-you-go.
What to Expect
- Food trucks & local vendors: Each night features a rotating mix of eats from around the world — from gourmet burgers to vegan bowls and desserts. Plus, local artisans bring handmade jewelry, crafts, and treats.
- Live music & DJ nights: Expect themed Fridays like Bollywood Beats, Retro Vibes, Pride Party, Fiesta Latina, and even Video Game Cosplay Night. Stay updated on themes at Downtown New West BIA.
- Kids’ Zone by New West Family Place: Free crafts, face painting, games, and hands-on fun for kids — while parents enjoy a little downtime.
- Licensed drink area: Sip craft beer from Steel & Oak Brewing Co. or wine from Pacific Breeze Winery. Remember your ID for bar tokens.
